Yes, this hoop pine coffee table has seen better days. I tried to pretty it with a table runner made with some Sandi Henderson Ginger Blossom, but there's no escaping it. I think it won't be long before this table gets attacked with some sandpaper and/or some paint!

The runner is cute though:)
Oh so pretty, you could sand around the edges, save time, keep the table runner?? Love Posie
I have a chest of drawers like that. To cover the top I have put a piece of fabric over it that sits flush, then placed that thick plastic on the top to hold the fabric down.
I like your table runner, mine would have to go to the sides, seriously it's that bad!
Plan is to one day sandpaper and paint, at the moment its in the hall gathering junk!
You did a great job! Your table runner is so beautiful, I didn't see anything but that!
I love the table runner - it's a quick and easy way to cover up the scratches on the table. Maybe make one just a little bit bigger?
I really like your table runner. About the table, you could patinate it. I'm planning to do that to some old pieces of furniture I've got at home.
Butter.
